Diana Robertson is an animal care professional, having spent more than 15 years working and/or volunteering for animal sanctuaries, shelters and rescue organizations in Hawaii and Oregon. In 2001 she started a non-profit animal rescue organization Shelter Animal Resource Alliance (S.A.R.A.) with the mission to rescue, assist and advocate for shelter animals. Over the next 8 years she and S.A.R.A. rescued more than 800 dogs and 350 cats from animal control facilities and other life-threatening situations, transferring them to progressive adoption programs or fostering them and finding them loving homes directly. In 2008 she, her partner Rick and her three rescued canine "kids" relocated to the beautiful Oregon coast.

Rick Cosci has always appreciated and shared his life with dogs and cats (and horses, chickens and goats at times). While in Eugene, he was a founding Member of the S.A.R.A Board of Directors, helped Diana foster and re-home shelter dogs and cats, and transported many rescued dogs to Oregon Humane Society's adoption program. Rick truly appreciates the unconditional love, sweet soul and unique personalitiy of each animal he pet sits for. |
